It also wicks and insulates better than cotton or all synthetic, so you can wear them comfortably in a pretty wide range of climates. Surly Socks are made by DeFeet using Merino wool and a small amount of synthetic material for increased durability. These ones here are 5" tall. Each design comes in four sizes so pretty much everyone should be able to find one that fits.
